Hi

We have a 03 plate amazon 4.2 that has recently staring pumping out white smoke when you pump the throttle , OK on idle .
its also lacking a little power , we have removed and overhauled the injectors and its still the same .

today we carried out a cylinder pressure test all six around the same readings.

Any ideas please to help would be greatly appreciated .

Black smoke is unburnt fuel.

Blue smoke is burnt oil.

White smoke is water.

Just joined the group, so am a little late in answering your query Very Happy  if its an FTE engine or any Toy diesel, it would be wise to change the fuel filter primer pump and the water sensor unit at the base of the filter. Had a similar issue and this fixed it as air gets in the systems giving you white smoke and hard starts.
