Hi All,

I had a 2002 Colorado delivered yesterday. It needed a jump off the boost pack on the 'master' battery but started no problems. I went for a drive (15mins) and the vehicle started several times under its own steam after that.

I placed it on trickle charge last night and this morning it wont start. I can hear the starter relay clicking but that's it. No lights on the dash after turning the key so I'm leaning towards the 100A fuse. It made a series of short beeps from somewhere in the engine bay last night- could it be an immobiliser issue?

I've ordered replacement batteries as it sat for a year unused and I have a 100A fuse waiting to be collected on the way home.

Thanks in advance Smile

That sounds like classic battery failure to me - they go and won't hold a charge.

I suspect you will be OK when the new ones arrive.

Bob.

I'd be inclined to agree but it wont even go with the boost pack that it started with immediately last night. It may have been the batteries last hurrah though. Fingers crossed.

Does anyone have a link to a thread about what the beeping noise is warning of? 5 short beeps......
