Hi,

Anybody know if the 90`s 1KZ-TE turbo is watercooled?
I have replaced the cylinder head and gasket but still have loss of coolant.
Now i Wonder if the turbo is leaking water since i can not pin out where the coolant goes?

Sorry my bad English Smile

Stig

If you cannot locate a water leak with a visual inspection you may not have one!

If you think you have a leak because the water level in the overflow bottle is dropping, then change the rad cap but I suggest you buy a genuine Toyota unit. Other makes, in my experience, don't work.

Check the small pipework that runs to the rear in cabin heater - these are prone to corrosion and difficult to find leaks.....
