Hi complete newbie first post
I’m contemplating a 2002 Colorado with 120,000 miles
I won’t off-road but will tow a trailer with up to 2 tons regularly
Most mileage will be regular roads
Any important things to look for and any specific recommends for set-up tyre pressures etc
Many thanks
Chris

This topic has been covered many times in this forum (surprised we don't have a sticky for it), so just go a Google custom search using the search option.
The mileage of 120K is on the low side for a vehicle of this vintage - which if can be backed up with paperwork, makes it a good buy IMHO. The main points, I would look out for is under body rust and the Radiator coolant leaking in to the Auto transmission box (if applicable) - again these topics are covered extensively in this forum, so just spend sometime doing a search. I have no experience, with trailer towing, but I know some people who do so, have connected a separate auto transmission oil cooler/radiator, instead of the standard setup (supposed to be keep the ATF cooler and also avoid the whole coolant ingress into auto box issue as well). Good luck and hope you will be able to find a suitable one to purchase.
