Hi All
I’ve just joined the forum and need some advise on buying an 80 series 24v TD. I’m looking for one with a solid front axle, as apposed to the later models with IFS.
I will be using the vehicle for over-landing trips, and myself and a friend, will hopefully be using it for an extended overland trip in a couple of years.
What do I need to look out for? Where are the best places too look fand what is a reasonable price to pay.
Any advise will be greatly appreciated, as I’m completely new to this. |

I think you need to research what you want a bit more, as the 80 never has had IFS. _________________ It's Not a Bl**dy Jeep it's a Landcruiser
