Are their any warning indicator lights displayed any where, when any of the off road functions are engaged on the 96 Prado.

The below information is correct for a '96 td AUTO Prado
If the OD is on there is no diplay but is you turn it off you get OD OFF displayed on the dash.
If you press the power button a display on the dash says POWER
If you press the 2nd button a display says 2nd STRT on the dash.
If you select HL then you bet a display on left side of the dash wjich shows that the diff is locked.
When you select N you get a AT/P display
When you select LL you get the same display as HL
