Recently my drivers side master switches stopped operating the other windows apart from the drivers.
I didn't really know where to start so had a look on youtube and low and behold a guy on there came up with a solutiion.
I hadn't associated it until seeing his video but it quickly made sense.
I recently disconnected the batteries but didn't realise it was linked.
Not wishing to steal his thunder but he explains that the battery disconnect often causes this to happen
To resolve it you simply operate each window a full three cycles up and down by manually pressing the switches in turn until you have done all the passenger windows.
With a bit of luck when you operate the drivers switches all windows will not only open and shut but the 'auto' function will work.
How good is that
If I was more computer savvy I would put up the link but all the kids are out so I can't, you should be able to find it though
Just for everyone info

I had the same problem when i disconnected my battery the solution is very simple just walk around the car and cycle each window up and down once and then drivers door switches will work fine.

Don't forget to hold each button in the up position for a second or so when the window reaches the top during the cycling exercise.
Only one cycle exercise is needed for each window when i needed to do this, but if you don't hold the switch in the up position for that important second, the system doesn't register it for some reason.
