I have a 2009 Land Cruiser Invincible with just 35,000 on the clock. Two garages have condemned the entire AC pipework leaving me with a bill for £1440.00.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Off to Spain so AC is needed.

We purchased a brand new LC5 back in the day and the ac pipework was the only problem the car ever had, starting at a very low mileage.
It seems to become porous where the pipework is exposed to the road salts etc. Despite many repairs, o-rings, leak sealers, we never did solve it.
Perhaps if you are changing the lot you should consider something to protect the pipes from the elements.

I guess because of the cost a lot of people just open the windows. Luckerly the dealer we purchased it from has agreed to pay half the price.

There are still some good honest car dealers out there.
