They are Black-Star Caimans
I use them as an off road set on both my LC and Hi-lux. |

I don't think it would have made that much difference , IMO there were two extremes today easy bits and nearly impassable bits. |

Good photos Matthew
Was a good day all told Big thanks to Redneck & PJ from POCUK
for all their hard work.
There where 4x4's getting stuck by the dozen, which was suprising as it
was quite dry. Except the extreme bits which unfortrunately/fortunately
were too narrow by 6 inches to accept a Landcruiser)
The hill climbs where the best bits in my opinion. Managed to stall going up one hill climb(Yep I stalled an automatic ) but luckily the 80 held firm. A real credit to its design, and to a set of good tyres .
Could be very interesting if the site was wet however, as it was was one big slope; Can imagine most of the 4x4's ending up at the bottom with
no traction.

We've seen them now
Seriously though, i think you're exactly right about the passable bits and the extreme bits. I think the extreme bits had been set up for challenge vehicles with serious lift and diff locks etc. Still didn't stop me having a go though _________________

Yep, you definitely kept trying 8)
I spent over an hour and a 1/2 just cleaning under the car, today with a pressure washer then 20 mins cleaning up the mess that was left on the floor, Bristol mud is sticky as hell |

Bristol Mud and it had straw mixed in, you could have built a wall with it.
Yesterday I swapped back the wheels and tyres and spent hours pulling all the mud out, removed the three bash plates and pressure washed them, and washed under again, I think I have it all out now
I kid you not, it must have added a huge amount of weight to the truck
I'm amazed at all the mud traps that are under an LC. |

I suppose i had better put this photo on, give you Landcruiser guys a good laugh
Cheers Mathew
My only consolation is that the LC couldn't pull me out on his own and also had to have a Pajero helping him _________________

Did I hear that it took another Toyota (Hilux) + a Paj to pull you out of another hole?
Only kidding Mike |
