Hi Guys.
Could some one please tell me where the filler plug is on the front diff, I can see the drain plug. I must admit I have not removed the bash plates yet.

I just want to check the oil level. I may change the oil or just refill as required. There are no leaks. Just general maintenance...

Regards

Paul

It's at the front and you'll need to remove the guard to see it.
It's 41110M on the diagram below. If I remember rightly it needs a different sized hex key from the drain plug (but don't quote me on that)

Hi
Just to let you know I have renewed the oil in my front diff.

Your info was correct the size of the filler plug allen key is 10mm ,it came out without much agro.
the drain plug is 12mm and was almost impossible to remove. After some brute force it did come loose.

I have had the truck for over 10 years and this was the first time I have changed the front diff oil.. out of sight out of mind..

The truck is in fantastic condition  both chassis and body wise. inner sill panels are as new..

Regards

Paul
thanks for your help...
