Hi I am looking to change the rocker cover gasket on my 4.2 amazon she is a 2006 model just gone over 100,000 miles and is weeping at the front edges. Looks like a big job.

Has anyone done this and is there any major pitfalls to watch out for before I tackle the job.

It's not such a bad job once you've done it, just make sure that you take pictures of all the little pipes and connections for the VSV, and what stumped me was peeling the top layer of the rocker cover off, maybe worth using a heat gun to soften the adhesive.
Also it's a good time to sort out the thick black gunk in the inlet and EGR unit.
