Newbie. Advice on replacement steel springs and shocks

Greetings from Somerset. Recently acquired a 2005 LC4. 86k and in nice condition. Always wanted one but had to buy without viewing because of Lockdown restrictions. Suspension not as smooth as I recall from earlier drives. Jittery and bumpy. So not sure whether to spend the money having it inspected to check shocks/springs/ bushes ( and if so where) or start by putting that money to replacement shocks and springs. Leaning towards oem rear shocks and Bilstein B4 front struts ( much cheaper) and Sachs springs all round ( again much cheaper). Not going to be an off-roadie. Most interested in ride comfort.  Any views /advice etc would be much appreciated. Otherwise lovely car.
