Hi Guys

Does anybody know why the vent on the right hand side of my dashboard ( RH DRIVE) next to the door does not pass any air ..warm or cold. Evan with blower fan flat out.

I am having trouble with the drivers side window steaming up.... The position of the heater knob makes no difference...

Regards

Paul

Hello Paul - maybe an obvious suggestion but could the duct that leads from the heater box to the vent have become detached? A while ago, I had to remove the lower panel under the steering wheel in order to remove my brake pedal ( to cure excessive side to side movement) and I recall it was quite easy to dislodge the duct that went to driver’s side window vent.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I had a look at the ducting down by the brake pedal. All was OK.

So had a kook at the vent itself. It was closed inside. when the control wheel was turned nothing happened thats why there is no air passing. I pushed the vent flap with a thin screwdriver and it opened with air passing OK.

So something is wrong inside the housing. Which will be a pain to repair, all inside the plastic dashboard.

regards

Paul
