Driver electric window screams on the way up, mechanic has 'lubed' up all areas and suggest it needs new window rubbers,  any ideas?

Mine doesn't scream, but it is a bit slow (a common problem I think).

Even if worn rubbers are ultimately the problem, I think I'd expect silicon lube to work at least partly and for a while, which should help confirm the diagnosis

Otherwise, take the door card off and grease lube all the moving parts.

Thanks Dave,

Mechanic suggest they had door card off/open and lubed all moving parts so I'll try silicone option.  Certainly noticed windows are very slow particularly in the cold, but isn't that true with everything!

Thanks
Steve
