Hi, am new to the forum but not to Toyotas as have a Hilux Surf as well as a 100 series Amazon 4.2 Tdi 2003, what I'm looking for is anybody on here that has one of the Techstream diagnostic tools if so which one, does it work and what can you read and change. if you are near me would like to see in action if possible ?

Hi Graham, I have an e bay Techstream and mini VIC cable, and I have had it for six years, it cost £39.99, it works and you can do everthing a Toyota dealer can do, just for example, here is a radom e bay listing nothing to do with me, e bay item number:354015577366.

Give it a go, I am not disappointed with mine, the only advice I will give you is, to follow the install instructions from the seller to the letter, it took me a few attempts, but once it was installed on my laptop it worked fine.

Thanks for the information on the Mini VIC cable had been looking at them just needed some confirmation that they worked so thanks for that.
