Hi,

Just started driving my recently purchased 100.
There is serious lack of power.
After checking more throughly, the egr modulator pipe is removed
from turbo and cable tied up. I'm guessing fault is there somewhere.
Anyone know why it would be removed?
Thanks.

When I blocked mine it was with a bolt, and just took pipe off and shoved the bolt up the rubber hose, then reconnected the hose both ends.

Okay, I assume people block it up is to do with carbon build up.
Just guessing at this point. But would this make vehicle slow
and would I need to block where pipe used to go as well?
Or just get it all cleaned out. I've seen something about deleting it.
More research ahead!

Thanks. I've been watching dan vs car. Really good vids.
Looks like a delete is on the cards.
Only thing is I'll have to wait and probably do myself.
It's hard to find good mechanics. If anyone can recommend one in
North Kent that would be great.
Don't know if it's worth doing other things like shiming valves,
injector lines and injectors while all off?
It's done 155000 miles.
