Hi, I am seriously considering buying a Land Cruiser, probably 8 - 10 years old. Primarily as a daily drive, for towing my Suzuki Samurai trialler, but also for greenlaning and maybe a bit of off-roading to.

I'd like a short wheel base 3 door. These seem quite rare. Are there any major issues I should be aware of. Stupid question, but is the SWB essentially the same as the LWB - engine, drivetrain, suspension...
All advice welcome
Cheers, Steve Very Happy

no
pretty much hilux spec; the 2.4 turbo isn't known for its longevity ( while the n/a version mostly stuck in hiluxes is) the 3.0 is a better bet if you can find one

Great, thanks Tom. Am I in the right club then :lol:Anyway, as it's a Toyota I guess it should be very reliable. I'll go for a 3 litre.
Cheers
