hello to all  Very Happy

anybody who could shed some light on this i would be very grateful

i own a 2000 prado/landcruiser TX

basically it drives fine until you go over 80mph then the engine cuts out when i release the accelerator at over 80 mph  Evil or Very Mad    

then you can knock it straight in to neutral or pull over and she will start up straight away  Question

yes  Very Happy  its fixed at last  Laughing

fist of all the prado went to toyota for a engine diignostics check Question

and the computer said that a solinoid on the fuel pump was faulty or so thay thaught  Idea

the solinoid was replaced after it arived from holand and guess what when road tested after the solinoid was fited the car did exactly the same thing Evil or Very Mad  

after that it  went to a auto electrican

but strangely enough on the way to the autoelectrican the car behaved fine  Question

and five days later thay to still could not find the fault  Shocked

so by now i was very cheesed off to say the least  Twisted Evil

then yesterday they telephoned to say that they had located the problem and aperently the imobilizer was sending out a pulse and knocking the engine off

im just glad that after almost a month of mesing around its fixed  Cool Laughing
