hi, i'm about 1 month into ownership of a 1997 gx AUTO colorado. so far i am delighted with it. i do however have one niggling concern in the back of my head; transmission oil cooler failure and resulting goosed auto box.

so i was thinking that perhaps i should replace the radiator with a new one. i got a price from a toyota dealer for £520!!!!

looking on the net i have found O.E. quality (?) for under £200.

now, if i was reading this i would say "get the toyota part and piece of mind" however i don't have 500 notes to spare.

what advice can you give? are aftermarket items of good enough quality?

please help.

After my gearbox had to be rebuilt, I fitted a new Milner rad.
Seems ok so far.
