Are the towbar mounting bolt holes the same for U.K. spec and imports. My import is an `80` 1991
Any info please as I don`t want to get a towbar through the post and then find I have to re-engineer the thing.

I just fitted a Witter tow bar to my 1991 imported 80. Never had any problems and it fits like a glove. Never even thought about checking for compatibility but I got away with it this time!

After shoppin` around I fitted myself an ECCO towbar ,ball and electric socket (single) for a total cost of 91 quid( the electrics are not connected yet).No snags fitting only a few thudded knuckles,swear words,dented head,spanner rash and a grease fountain (it stops the rot).It`s the same fitting for UK and import spec.
