I have an LC2 with 225/70x17 tyres on 6J rims. Can I go up to 245/70x17 on the same rims because the original Dunlop tyres are c**p. The larger tyres are cheaper and more available. Any thoughts,Ideas and suppliers of tyres welcome

I think "Micheldever Tyres" based in Winchester should be fairly close and be able to help you.
They'll know whether the new size will fit and also be able to quote you decent prices and recommend a suitable replacement. I've been going there for 4-wheel alignment and tyres for several years for all my cars and its worth a 100 mile round trip!
