Paul, that's looking a serious piece of metal, my friend. I'm off to Tom's Farm on Easter Weekend. That can't be far from you. You ever been? It looks rather challenging in places. It's actually a quad weekend, but I doubt that I'll be able to resist getting stuck in!

Yes the LC is taking shape I am going to try to fit the snorkel over this weekend. Then time to go and get some Rock Sliders. Got a make who makes them.

I have been, but a long time ago. Its about 40 miles from me. Theres a few nice lanes not to far from there. It can be as easy or as bad as you like. Tell him NOT to try the Widow maker!!!! Also over the weekend do not be suprised to see the Air Ambulance there Shocked .

Yes, I've seen the Widow Maker, it doesn't look that steep, but the surface seems really loose making grip difficult near the top. Wheels seem to sink in like it was water.

Well had some OME springs fitted today. 850s on the front and 863s on the rear, these springs were the heavest duty ones that OME now make. The front needed a 25mm packer added as well, due to the winch bumper. This has given me a 75mm lift on the rear and a 50mm on the front. Will have to see how it goes, sorry no pictures as yet.

Paul

PS anyone want some Procomp +2" springs?

When I said I had seen the Widomaker, that was really "I've seen footage etc" I have, of course, now seen it first hand. Honestly, how anyone actually has the nerve to even attempt to drive up or down it is beyond me. It is utterly terrifying. It's a cliff.

I hear of people going down hill in 4x4's, usually ending with the air ambulance in attendance. I've watched the bikes going up & down as well but even they struggle. Can't see a 4x4 getting up unless it's one of those icelandic monsters and I'm not sure even one of those wouldn't run out of puff  Laughing  I'd have a go if I was bored with my life  Rolling Eyes You definately need to stand at the top considering having a go and look down to appreciate how daft it is!
