i'm in need of replacing the springs and shocks. my normal load is family of 4 plus camping gear/food. sometimes 4 bikes. sometimes the dog. sometimes the lot!
all of this is making me lean towards HD springs. i've looked on milners new web site and they no longer mention the HD variant, although i guess they are still available.does anyone have the milner HD springs fitted? did they lift the vehicle? is so by how much? i've also seem OME springs from TBR but they cost too much.
anyway back to the point. do you have any pictures of your colorado before and after if you have fitted HD springs?
i've seen 24seven's pics and a 2" OME lift looks quite high on his car and thats with 255/85 tyres which are taller than my 275/65 AT's.
can you help? |

This is what it looks like with body and spring lift. The spring lift only adds about 1" as it's not a true suspension lift. The front struts are still the same OAL but they don't compress as much with the weight of the vehicle. But you need to do both ends or it has a definite tipping toward the front.
You don't need a before picture - just look out of your window! There are recent threads on this section, just check last couple of weeks and you'll get more info on fitting them.

The springs are all Milner 20%+ and the rear dampers are Milner too. The front shox were on the vehicle when I got it - but are not original.
