Hi All,

The EGR valve on my 120 is ticking while the ignition is on but the engine is not running. It's a fast tick - several per second and not loud enough to hear from the cab. I can feel it vibrating when I put my hand on it - slighly getting an electric shock.

Anyone else have this? I have a suspicion that it's possibly the cause of the change in engine tone that I am getting sometimes under light load andlow revs....

Ta,
Ken

apparently the ticking is normal. however she's in for work on the injectors which could cost me 2000 !!!
I took 800ml of what I thought was oil from the sump but it could apparently be diesel from dodgy injectors.

I had my injectors done under warranty, if your is less than 3 yrs old, it maybe worth getting hold of your local garage or lay it on thick with toyota customer services.

According to toyota and their marketing info (The reasons why we buy them)

" Every 4x4 talks the torque. Only Land Cruiser walks the walk "

Why should we pay the price of hollow marketing messages!
