Not fitted them yet, saving them for my trip to Cape Town.
I don't expect any issues with them,
I believe they will go right on, no problems with catching etc. |

They'll be juuuuuust fine. I'm sure. I got my compressor today and let my BFG MT down so that I could see how long to blow them up. I got down to abut 5 psi before the sidewalls even showed any signs of being deflated. I reckon that you could virtually fun flat with this brand

Well, I considered putting the white lettering to the outside, but I am glad I didn't.
Now just my opinion, so no one get on their high horse,
On an older vehicle, I suppose white letters outside would be OK.
But not for me.

.
They ride very smooth, and I would have no hesitation in suggesting other 120 owners fit them. |

Dear Uk-vete Because I am considering to change the tires on my LC 120 (I just bought it) and I would like to know if these BF tires make any noise on the road. I was suggested to put the Yokohama Geolander A/T. Do you know them? Which ones do you think are better for our Vehicle? The Yokohama I have put them on my wifes Daihatsu Terios and they make no noise even with 160km/h.
Thank you,
George Karakitsos,
Greece. |

I've got Geolanders on my Amazon - fitted last year. They are very good.
HOWEVER, the tread is a fairly soft rubber so tyre life may not be fantastic. The side walls are also soft. This means that they could be more easily damaged on rocky tracks but they should cope with mud well. Stiff side walls tend to dig a hole rather than float over the mud (even if you drop the tyre pressure).
My target was to pull a heavy trailer on the road and to be able to drive over muddy fields. The tyre works well in these conditions. Also, they are quiet. There is very little road noise.

Hello kronassm,
I am 100% happy with my BFG All terrain.
First, they are very quiet.
Before I bought them I was also worried they would be more noise.
I can say they there is NO more noise with these than the Dunlop Grand Trek I took off.
The BFG A/T have many benefits.
They have excellent tread life, without being hard.
They have 50% more side wall strength than almost all other tyres.
I am glad in every way that i paid the small extra, and goy what i believe to be the best tyre. |

UK_Vette hello again....
Well I am now convinced on putting the BF all/terrain on my LC 120 and will do so in about a month. So then I will let you, and all others in here, know about my impresions for the specific tires.
Thanx again,
George. |
