Greetings to the TLOCUK members!

I took delivery of my HDJ81 last night after a fairly long search looking at about 10 or 12 LCs. I got some helpful advice from the 80 series forum and eventually settled on a 1998 VX 4.2 TD that has seen little hard use and done reasonable mileage (95k). Thanks to all the guidance - I probably would still be trying to choose a LC to buy without it! Laughing

I have a Forester XT which has been a great family car and ok for the odd excursion through muddy roads etc but a growing family and more shooting trips requires a bigger vehicle for weekends away plus a something more capable of coping with rough roads and mud, a load of kit, people and so on! So the LC has joined the family!

I look forward to following the forums closely and participating when I have questions or something useful(?) to add.
