Hi just brought a 96 colorado V6 3.4 145k head gaskets done twice last time 20k ago, looks like they have gone again ,test kit changed colour, bubbles in top of rad when running cold and squirting water out of rad when revving. Tried Milner Off Road they do not do head set ,also while heads are off thinking of performance work ie. higer comp.ratio, flow heads and match manifolds and 3 seat valve cuts.

any advice on suppliers and performance mods much appreciated

Cheers

Niels

Have you checked that the heads aren't distorted?

A new gasket should last a good while - 100,000 miles?

If they are a bit out of true, they can be machined flat without it costing a fortune.

Sorry I can't help on your questions.
