As many will know, I am on work business here in Oslo, Norway
So today I phone my Toyota dealer in Warrington, and ask them when my next service is due.
Due at bla, bla, bla miles.
The price they said, all in with is £143.00
Good, no problem there.
Anyway, I gone 700 miles over the service interval.
I know it is here nor there, but I want to get my service done, sooner rather than later.
I phoned Oslo Toyota and asked for the price of their intermediat service.
£320.00
Wow !
A bit more than £143.00 !
Takes 1 hour.
It will be going in this Friday. |

I can't say a bad thing about Bentley's
I snapped one of my rear wheel studs, lunch time on a Friday, a day before I was to drive to Norway.
"Bring it in at 2:30, they said"
Got there about 10 minutes early, and they took it strait in, it took them about an hour and it was all done.
I don't know if you know, but the rear brake disc, is also a 1 piece rear drum.
the hand brake works on the inside of the drum, while the brake caliper works on the outside.
It isn't just a matter of knocking the broken stud out backwards, as is many the case, and pulling a new one in from the back, as it would have gone into the brake drum area, causing all sorts of problems.
To me they were good. |

No way was I going to strip it down a day before travelling to Norway.
I couldn't afford to drive like that to Norway either, in case it got loose, and fell inside into the hand brake part of the drum.
It would have really messed the hand brake shoes up good style. |
