Hope someone can help. We are urgently trying to source a critical part.

Itís an idler gear (current one has two broken teeth)

Part number. 13525-17020 (we think)

Toyota thought the part has been superseded and supplied Part number 13525-17030 which definitely does not fit.

So our Toyota has advised the part 17020 is no longer in production/available.

Can anyone outside of the uk help put us in touch with a main dealer who may be able to source the part?

The car is an 2006 4.2 1HDFTE Auto with 70k miles.

Thanks very much in advance.

It's listed on Amayama.com at around £170.

Thankyou!  Amayama is a possibility. Has anyone ordered from them before?

The other link has the part listed but unavailable.

Looking more hopeful though.

I've used Amayama a couple of times and both the Japanese and Middle Eastern sourced parts arrived within about three weeks. You need to add VAT, import duty (about 10%) and postage to the price but it is still often much cheaper Toyota dealer prices. I've been lucky not to have to send anything back as I suspect that would be a pain, but if you're sure you're getting the right part I would thoroughly recommend them.

Brilliant. Thatís really helpful. Thankyou!  We are also in touch with a uk gear manufacturer to see if the part can be replicated.
