I bought a LC2 off e bay last year (disaster but another story). Wanted to check what the insurance would be before I committed. I have no NCB as it is used on my other car to reduce premium for my wife.

I called a few outfits and one really stood out: Firebond. I got their contact from a Landrover magazine. I was on business in Saudi Arabia, they called me on my mobile, got the vehicle details, offered me a classic car policy for less than 300 quid, FC without the NCB, plus a rescue package for 20 something. Great personal service and believe me, I have been so glad I took that rescue and recovery package....

Anybody buying a LC should check these guys out.

Did not go with these as they state "you do not require NCB protection" I have 8 years to proect.
