Thnx

The view here seems to be that you can go to Milners but they need repeated adjustment to take up wear or get Toyo bearings from your local friendly Toyota dealer. There is a price difference but it isn't huge.

I got the bearing company name wrong - sorry. I think the standard bearings are made by Koyo (not Toyo). They have a UK distribution office, see:-

http://www.koyoseiko.com/

But it would be easier and probably no more expensive to go to the local Toyota dealer.

Inner Wheel Bearing - Koyo JLM506849/JLM506810
Outer Wheel Bearing - Koyo LM102949/LM102910 (same as 80 series)

You should be able to get them a lot cheaper than the prices quoted above.

Also, try to go for Koyo or Timken, this is what Toyota uses, avoid the cheap Chinese imports unless you know they have a good reputation.

Any half decent bearing supplier should be able to get some for you with those numbers.

Thanks for the info Guys.  I take it that the difference in pricing between the 4.2 and the 4.8 is a different hub set up?

Are you referring to the difference between the 80 and the 100?  The 100 is Independant Front Suspension so yes a different hub arrangement to the folid axle on the 80s.

Also the 100s have different bearings again on the rear.
