Have you tried looking on TOYODIY? If you can find the part no. you can order through your super friendly & helpful local Toy dealer. I fear that you will be charged a scary sum but I would be surprised if they couldn't order the part if you gave them the number.

http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/q_U_1997_LEXUS_LX450_FZJ80.html

If I have your vehicle entered correctly and I understand the part from your description, you're looking for part no. 45611-60080 (steering knuckle arm RH). In the North American market, this part is indicated as costing $176 - my guess is that figure will be higher in Pounds.

I hope this helps - good luck!

EDIT: I've just compared for a regular 80 series and it's the same part! The LHS arm is 45612-60070... You should be able to order this easily from any Toy dealer, assuming that I have correctly identified the part you need!

Cheers,

You should find that most parts for the LX450 apart from the trim and interior will be the same as an 80 series Land Cruiser. Worth giving Milners a call.

LX450 = FZJ80
LX470 = UZJ100

That's the same part that I identified before  Wink  45611-60080 for the RH side!
Have a look at this link which should show you the precise page - do the parts look correct? You'll see the steering knuckle arms for both sides...
http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_1997_LEXUS_LX450_FZJ80L-GNPGKA_4505.3.html

I very much doubt you'll find the part no. stamped on the part itself. You'll need to identify it yourself, or get someone expert like Julian Voelcker to do it for you - and go to Toyota with a number.

Looks like Milners ain't got what you need! For something critical like the steering, I think you're always better off going with original parts.

Cheers,

You're welcome thumbup  Hope that gets you sorted! Pretty good price - I picked up a couple of oil seals from Toyota this morning and got stung £25 each for a bit of rubber and a tiny spring running round it... Twisted Evil  As long as it does the job!

Let us know how you get on!

Cheers,

I collected the part today and it was the wrong side :(there listings have the numbers the other way round so 45611 being the single arm and 45612 being the double  Confused  not a problem as they refunded and reordered the new part to arrive this afternoon express. I do wonder how the numbers are the other way around?
