Well then my new straight through stainless exhaust.....
It's a little to loud really when actually driving.... so I am going to get a little silencer put in so that the acoustics sound a little deeper and better...
Here is a little vid.....

YOUTUBE VID

See nothing at the back....  Very Happy

Nothing to see at the side......

But nicely tucked away so I won't damage it off-road....

what do you lot think......?

Looks tidy TJ - will have to wait til lunchtime to listen to the tunes it plays as the boss is in today Sad

How about incorporating the exhaust in 100x50 RHS & letting it double up as a tree slider??

Would I be right in thinking, as it is tucked under the body it will not pass an mot like that?

Looks fine to me otherwise. Just a bit loud for my likeing, but adding the box to it will sort that out.

Once mine comes back from the MOT (still not back and I need to call them). I will keep it off the road for a month or two. I do not have time to use it right now and I want to fit the diffs and remove my centre box from the exhaust. Might even get around to making the rear draws!!

Other that that I am doing fine, just too many hours working. Doing up to 16 hours a day Shocked

I think someoneon here retained the box after the flexible connection off the manifod on their 3" exhaust & that seemed to keep it calm enough...  Thatis what I am planning to do with mine anyhoo Wink

PECO on the Wirral quoted me abut 60 quid for a small straight through silencer which I might consider if it too noisey without.

I'll be bringing my zorst out through the back bumper - twin 3" pipes should be mean enough Wink

My Aunt & Uncle live in Hixon - we're off to see them later in the month...  Do you want anything collecting TJ?  Might gerrem to rustle up a silencer between them & now Wink

PS sounds rude  Cool Can't wait for mine to sound like that Smile  Did you do away with the first silencer then?  Can you post a snap of what they did coming off the headers?

I'd like to move that first silencer under the body so its down between the chassis rails to make getting the sliders in a bit easier but haven't looked at the routing too seriously yet...

Sounds good TJ

Similar to mine but I have the silencer although it is straight through.
Listening to yours, I would say the silencer calms down the high pitched turbo whistle.

From what I understand, an exhaust has to end flush with the outside of the body. I have had three MOT's since doing mine
with no issues what so ever. You may need to extend it a little but you have a while before you need to worry about it.

I bought one of them new HD camcorders but Photobucket won't recognise the format.

No idea how to download the vids, must be getting old when new technology starts to baffle me Laughing
