Well, after not being able to find much on the official genuine Toyota Dog Guard, I thought that I would post some details of mine fitted.  The DG is bl**dy expensive and whilst it initially seemed pretty straight forward to fit, like always there were a couple of gotchas!  Rolling Eyes

Starting point

Unbolt the cargo loops by the 2nd row seats and replace with new bracket arm, then bolt mounting bracket on new bracket arm.  Ensure that the short length is flat!

Remove the front bolt from the rear most grab handle, slide new bracket underneath and replace.  Then attach new bracket arm.  Finally attach Dog Guard at the top first, then bottom.

If you have the boot liner, you will need to trim the end by the guard and make holes for the newly located cargo hoops.

After about an hour, the finished article.

I had to replace the bottom bolts that attach the cargo loops to the brackets with longer ones, as once the DG was finally in place, things were getting a bit fiddly!

In in all about £350ish (bought some other bits as well) for DG and boot liner, pretty pricey but good job in the end.

PARTS:
Dog Guard: TGBNGA-4G150-02
Boot Liner: TPZ434-J2301-PJ

A mate of mine has just bought a 57 plate Amazon from a yota dealer, told them he wanted a dog guard fitted before he collected it, yes sir no problem that will be an extra £250.00. when he picked it up they had cable tied it to the rear seat headrests, needless to say he came away without the guard & with his £250.00,

Where did you get the dog guard from?
Anyone else have any alternative suppliers?

Thanks Landcrusher, but I was more interested in the divider to store cargo rather than pets.

Yes, I gathered that. Couldn't resist though. I made my cargo barrier - bit of a custom job. Much bigger it would have been a roll cage. Ha ha.

Haha! I left myself open to that one.
Any pictures of your one?
I cant seem to get the search facility to find all the threads im looking for,  I search, get no results, but then find interesting stuff by going through threads individually.

Actually, I find that this is one of the best search facilities that I have used. You get pretty much what you are looking for. I had to find a thread tonight and I just selected the author, key words, the forum that I though that it was on and hey presto up came the results. Have a look at a current thread, nick the details and put them in your search. If it comes back as nil - you know there is a problem.

I just have keywords, like Storage or Shelving.
Its ok though, Im learning loads as I skim through the other posts.

Like Toyodiy.....What an excellent looking site. Never heard of that before. But certainly something I will use!
It all ready has me thinking of changing my oil and filter.

This is a few days old but I'm pretty sure I have a dog guard from a LWB 90, looks similar to Ian's , I got it thrown in with a bull bar I bought a few months back, it should be some where in my shed....... I'm in Africa at the moment but will have a look when I get back in a few days if anyones interested. (I have some wheels as well, need refurb but straight and no damage).

Mr. T does a cargo divider to go with the official dog guard.  Yet more money though Sad
