Gary, you're a star.

Very interesting. Anyway, update for anyone interested.

Swapped front to rear and hey presto, the pull is gone and as an added bonus the steering wheel is straight again too. I can only conclude that the front N/S tyre, as it was, was worn to the point where it was a significantly different diameter to the O/S wheel (on at least some of the circumference) and upsetting things as a result. I also upped the pressures to 2.4bar, and to be honest, on a motorway run they are fine, as that is what I have just done for about 300 miles round trip. On a small country road with lots of bumps, gullys and such like it is too hard. I'll leave it for a while but I can see me reducing it to 2.2 in all likelihood. The main thing is the alignment seems to be pretty much OK anyway.

'Vette, dunno how you stick it at 2.8bar. Must be rock hard. Does it not understeer like a mad thing in the wet with such stiff tyres?

Thanks all for the input. Cool  Cool  cheers  salute

I see generally that the original fit Dunlop AT20s are a big thumbs down by most, if not all, on the Forum. What's the story here? Must say I am ignorant to it. Were they really that bad. Read somewhere they were developed specifically for the 'lifestyle, image and performance of the Toyo LC'.  Confused

Laughing  Laughing That's a good joke for a Monday ...

The Dunflops are pretty rubbish for anything - they run at 2 bar for a reason - to 'improve ride comfort'.  The sidewall is pretty thin and very flexible - when I took mine off to put the Cooper STTs on, you can actually squash the centre of the tread right in and make the tyre indented - and this was on the spare which had never been used.

Yes - they're quiet.  That's about it.  Don't know why Mr T continues with them, other than to corner the Chelsea Tractor market and try and compete with Disco's and RangeRovers...  waste of time, as just about everyone who wants to take their LC off the beaten track chucks off the Dunflops immediately in preference for something better - and pretty much anything else is better.

It's not even as though the Dunflops are cheaper, either - they're the same price, practically, as BFG A/T's ....

Just my 2p worth
