Maybe a days laning and then a overnighter on the Strata? Beer + BBQ?
Anyone fancy it? |

Despite the fact that sounds crazy, I'd like to do something like that. Unfortunately too many family commitments and little people under the age of 5! _________________ '04 KDJ120R LC5. Died 17th Dec 2010. RIP. |

Whatever night people want it?
I have a large amount of hard wood to burn (In a contolled manner) for heat
Bet it will be raining anyway, but hopefully it will be night to remember |

The wetter the better. I'm no fine weather wheeler.
I could be interested in a bit of extreme camping.

Just curious, I've only driven Strata once so can't remember where there's a large enough area for some spread out camping?
If anyone wanted to include some more northern lanes (even extend to 3 days 2 nights?) I know of a cracking wild camping spot just north of Dolgellau
Just throwing some idea's around

There is a spot which I have camped on before, it's not very friendly for ground tents though because the grasses are like bamboo.
I have been on a lot of routes around Mid Wales which I have in Memory Map but even with that I still have know sense of direction until finding the start of a route
Paul Humphreys knows the area very well, we maybe able to tap him up for some current legal routes |

Yes, it would have to be all above board and legal. I always like to know that I am in the right before hitting an angry Crag-Rat over the head with a tyre lever.

Mark and I are going to mid Wales on Friday night. Staying in a b&b then driving some lanes on Saturday, depending on what’s flooded.should be interesting .

I know a number of routes and could certainly help with planning. I've been collecting LandRanger maps recently too I don't think it's fair to drag Paul into organising when he hasn't even expressed an interest in joining us yet! _________________
