It's been building for a while, but I'm interested to get some feedback on how many LC's within the foum have failed. Toyota are abviously keeping quiet.

SH : FTSH

Car : LC120

Fault: Aircon magnetic clutch noisy

Fault: Front suspension bushes failed (collapsed)
Cure: Replaced bushes
All above covered under warranty.
Have a concern over:
Injectors - Mr T has 'tested' and 'all within spec'
Engine very clanky / noisy on startup and on idle - will check for sludge at next oil change
Tail shaft clunk - replacing rear diff with e-locker, and will grease thoroughly then and check for alignment / play
I think that's it (for now ) _________________ I'll be more enthusiastic about encouraging thinking outside the box when there's evidence of any thinking going on inside it.

No others in my ownership but I also know front O/S wheel bearing replaced and it looks like diff lock actuator was replaced because it's nice and clean and newish looking... _________________ '04 KDJ120R LC5. Died 17th Dec 2010. RIP. |
