I've had a look at most of the threads on the various alarm systems fitted to the different series and model years and i'm still in the dark Rolling Eyes

I have my new 94 diesel VX manual (Reg'd on 15-6-94) and it is fitted with a TVSS.  There is the LED in the switch space by the cubby box with a little grill and stickers on the window.  I didn't get any fobs and the system arms when the key locks the driver's door lock and therefore the central locking. As I found out outside Pets At Home on Saturday if you don't open the driver's door first the alarm sounds!

The extra horn for the sounder is in the engine bay just behind the air filter but I've not found other elements in my looking today.

So, which system do I have, does it have an immobiliser, should I have some key fobs, can I simply remove it so it doesn't strand me or should I just nip to Beadles (Toyo main dealer here)?

Thanks in advance. Laughing

Dave
