Has anyone modded these so that they are on all the time as opposed to when the ignition switch is either on or in acc?
Simple thing really, kids watching DVD's (3rd party ones powered by the Accessories socket), I stop to fill up with Diesel (or whatever) and on starting the engine, the DVD system reboots due to no power.
Ideally I would want to change all 3 so that they are always on, but I don't want to rewire the whole car. I have a LC4 btw.

I haven't, but there is a posting on PradoPoint where someone explained exactly how to do it on a 120 - wasn't a big deal, apparently.

Right back at you. Same happens to me and it's really f***ing annoying when they're quiet and watching something....I'll give that mod a go but it refers to a front accessory point. Where's that or am I blind and missing it?
Oops. Just found it. It was the one I was using and I thought it was the cigarette one. _________________ '04 KDJ120R LC5. Died 17th Dec 2010. RIP. |
