Hi can you tell me where the oil pressure senderswitch is on my 94 vx 4.2 deisel & a rough cost ?.

Brian, sender is located l/h side of engine, in middle of engine block, just behind oil filter, its about 2 inches round and about 1 inch deep, silvery gold in colour, has 1 wire going to it. Cost from toyota about 45 quid !!, if you want to check oil pressure you can remove sender, screw a presure gauge into place, with engine at normal operating temp you should see 4.5 psi at idle, and 36 - 87 psi at 3000 rpm .
