My key fob packed up earlier, light still works but doesn't switch alarm off or activate the central locking; drove home after unlocking with key; switch off engine, alarm goes off again; lock up; no problems for a couple of hours the alarm goes off randomly; disconnect the battery to stop it again; remember i didn't/couldn't lock the back door; reconnect the battery to fire the central locking and my indicators are constantly flashing now.

Any ideas? I can't really drive it as it is and my spare key & fob are 250 miles away. I've tried resetting it several times and it doesn't seem to work. I'm going to buy a new battery tomorrow for the key fob, but the light hasn't dimmed at all so not holding out much hope and i could do with my car back for the weekend - doubt the posty will have the spares here before Monday.
