Hi, has anyone had any good stories about this dealer.
I've just picked up a 120 from them, when initially looking at the car I commented on the wear and tear on the back wheels and the spare and thought I was signing on the dotted line expected all 3 to have new rubber, and I also asked if the parking sensors worked.

Picked up the car and found later, no joy with the sensors. No new rubber on the spare.
Apparantly there was sufficient rubber on the spare to pass an MOT hence not replaced, to sort the sensors a 40 mile drive back to them.

no thank you!

I am going back to my local dealers for the sensors under warranty and shall be taking my business elsewhere when I upgrade.

Mad
more of an update... complained to Toyota customer services and result was the garage offering to replace the spare for cost price... the customer services said they didnt really deal with second hand car sales and complaints!!!
this wound me up as the back tyres were both cheap versions of the dunlops on the front, so not even matching!

then they could not arrange for a local dealership to sort sensors and the local dealership would have charged me a diagnostic fee under warranty, so I asked them to collect sort and deliver. My courtesy car was an IQ... what a ridiculous change, me 2 kids plus car seats, I am 6ft3 and there was room for nought else...

happy to say sensors work, and I am never venturing northwards past thirsk, unless its greenlaning....
