Bought oil from my local Toyota garage for the first time yesterday. They are doing a half price “deal” £15 for 5L which beats any price I can get locally.

Also I’ve been using 10w40 but they are now recommending 5w30. It says “fuel saving” on the label so it will be interesting to see if I notice any effect at the pump

I wouldn't be putting 5w30 in mine, there probably recomending it just to get rid of it.

Heads up  Laughing home bargains has unipart 10/40 semi synthetic (5litres) for 8pounds good spec too.
