Could be a dashboard bulb. If it's an airbag fault then it will/should throw up an error code that can be read using the paperclip trick, where you bridge certain terminals in the diagnostics socket under the bonnet. I can't for the life of me remember how to do this but it will have been discussed previously on the forum. I'd look up the paperclip tric, check for errors, and if there aren't any I would assume it's the dashboard bulb. You could either just leave it in peace or change it by removing the dashboard, which itself is a bit of a palaver but relatively straightforward (though not something you'd want to do every day). _________________ 1997 KZJ90 3.0d, 2" suspension lift, 235/85/16 Cooper STT Pros. 217k hard miles |

Thanks for the reply. After a bit of google most complaints seemed to be the light staying on, and to look under the drivers seat for bad connections. Particularly if loads of *beep* was pushed under the seat. Well there you go, *beep* removed from under the seat and bingo, the dash light came on

I'm glad it was a simple fix. There's loads of *beep* under my seat too, so I'll keep this solution in mind! _________________ 1997 KZJ90 3.0d, 2" suspension lift, 235/85/16 Cooper STT Pros. 217k hard miles |
