Have owned my LC invincible d4d for over six years now it's a 2006 with 84k on the clock, I have never had the value clearance checked is this something I should get done not sure where I would take it for this, don't really like going to the main dealer for obvious reasons, and I do oil and filters etc myself, don't think iam confident enough to tackle this myself though, could anyone recommend a specialist or garage in the Newcastle area for this type of work any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

Even at 200 k miles the valves should be OK without ajustment , especially if the engine has had regular oil and filter changes , to adjust the valves means changing the shims , and they mostly wear due to neglect on oil changes , many 120s have done 400k miles with out valve adjustment (shim change) , so I dont think you have anything to worry about there , |

Thanks tonycy11, I have been changing the oil and filter every 3k since I bought the LC, and it runs great, just needed some advice, thanks again, |
