Well that was a massive ball ache! I have spent all day and half last night researching where I could take a feed from the gear selector at the front. In the end I gave up after tearing most of the dash apart and not being sure which red/black was correct. One takes in for from the throttle sensor. I ran a wire from the back where it feeds the not functioning parking sensor box all the way to the front of the car. It was actually much easier than all the buggerin’ about at the front and come the end and the volt drop of such a long run didn’t seem to matter in the end.
It all works   The camera gives a nice clear picture on the KENWOOD head unit
