HI JUST GOT PRADO 1996 TX IMPORT CAME WITH 265X50X2O TYRES I HAVE PUT IN 35PSI ALL AROUND DOES THAT SEEM OK. THANK YOU OOOPS CAPS LOCK ON .

That sounds fine. You'll find a lot of different preferences, but as long as they are the same across each axle (obviously) and within a normal sort of range it's a matter of whatever works best for you. Once you have ditched the original tyres (or wheels in your case) there is no 'right' answer.

Out of interest, your Prado would originally have been fitted with 16" wheels with a tyre size of either 265/70/16 or 215/80/16. Yours are an almost exact match with the first so, if that's what they replaced, your speedo will read pretty much the same.

cheers dave appreciated only other thing ive noticed is chassis rolls a little which i know they all do to a degree misses reckons to much but to me seems normal, brakes a bit spongy but apart from that all good, its had 16 mots since arriving in 2006 and not failed one yet, think ive put the curse on now when due in feb lol.
