Hi all

Does anyone have recent experience registering an old Land Cruiser in the UK? I've just imported my 1988 FJ 62 into the UK and am struggling with knowing what to put for the emissions information in the DVLA's V55/5 registration paper.

Any advice is greatly welcomed

Thanks
Guy

A vehicle of that age will not need any classification for emissions.

Thanks Andy - Assuming you're in the UK and this is what you have done before i.e. didn't provide emissions data when registering an old vehicle with the DVLA? My expectation was also that they shouldn't need emissions data for a vehicle as old mine. I called DVLA during the week to confirm this and they said that I would still need to provide it. Think I'll try and call them back again and seek a different opinion.

A few years ago I imported about 20 Hilux Surfs to the UK, and unless the rules have changed for cars over 10 years old, then you shouldn't need it.
