As far as I understand it, the bodyshop thing the panel is fine - just the mounting tabs are different? They only intend to use sections of the new panel as the old one was only rusty around the wheelarch edges. They seem very confident having failed to find a proper replacement wing from any of their usual sources and were about to start investigating breakers yards - so they think its a good result. |

👍 Ahh, sounds a good compromise. If I understand it right then, they won't have to remove the old wing completely, so not get any other panels involved ? Result !! |

That's what I thought. I'd rather do a bit of cutting and tig welding than try to remove a bolt on wing that's been there for nearly 20 years! |
