The problem is I’ve used this garage for years as it’s just down the road from me,always get my mots there, tyres, repairs.but I always see the mechanics there and one guy in particular who’s always been great to me
The guy offering me a very low price is the owner of the garage who I’ve never had any dealings with before until this ,so I’d feel bad slating them off when it’s not their fault that the boss is trying to pull a fast one 🤷🏻♀️ |
Hi Krys, totally understand that - I'm in Liverpool so just curious who it was!
All good advice on here - LC's are a bit of a religion to us lot, so feel free to ask if you need any help! |

You'll need luck with WBAC!
Out of interest, just valued mine on their website. 2006 with 85K on the clock.
WBAC offered...
...

...
...
£150
(no not a typo!) |

Now that is daylight robbery, and if/when they come to view that figure will be reduced again, no doubt.
We thought the garage owners price was well low, but £150 proves Dick Turpin is alive and well !!
An ad on this and the other forum may produce better results, as they are enthusiasts who in general intend to use it, and not looking to shift on at a vast, quick profit.
Hang in there Krys ! |

haha, I suspect I've been blacklisted, because they dont want to deal with my type
Someone else try and get a valuation and see?
Totally agree - the best place to sell the LC is on the forum. As a starter for 10 it might be worth a look at the MOT history (could PM one of us the reg and we can look it up), we can usually get a bit of an idea from that. |
